Regional Competition

Regional Competition consists of seven written tests, administered in the same manner and with the same scoring process as Local Competition. 

Note:  There are 50 questions for each of the written tests -- except Math with 35 questions.

In addition, students engage in a 4-minute Prepared Speech, 1 1/2 - 2 minute Impromptu Speech, Interview and Essay. 

  Essay Test Writing Window is Tuesday or Wednesday, December 9 or 10, 2013.

  Students will write the essay in their school; prompts will be based on the novel,

 The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway.
