SUPER QUIZ RELAY

Friday, March 16th - 12:45 - 2:15 P.M.

Sandstone Ballroom/Glacier Canyon Conference Center, Wisconsin Dells

Admission: $4.00 at the door

State Competition consists of six written tests, administered in the same manner and with the same scoring process as the Local and Regional Competitions.

In addition, students engage in a 4-minute Prepared Speech, 1 1/2 to 2 minute Impromptu Speech, Interview, Essay Writing and Super Quiz, including both a written test and a relay.

The Super Quiz Relay is the only event open to the public.

According to the selection process, 20 Regional Schools advance to State Competition.

WAUKESHA WEST - STATE CHAMPION

Waukesha West High School won State Competition with a total score of 48,025.4 points.

Waukesha West took the Top Team Award in nine of ten subjects -- Essay, Interview, Art, Economics, Mathematics, Language & Literature, Music, Social Science and Super Quiz.

New Berlin Eisenhower took the Top Team Award In Speech.

This will be West's 10th straight appearance at National Competition!

Overall, New Berlin Eisenhower High School was the Second Place Team in the State with 43,806.8 team points. Waukesha South took Third Place with 37,477.5 points.

Anuraag Girdhar of Waukesha West broke the state record in Social Science

(Honor category) and Morgan Butler IV of Waukesha South broke

the state record in Super Quiz Overall (Varsity category).
