Volunteerism is a Major Factor

Behind On-Going Success of

Wisconsin Academic Decathlon Program

On Competition Day, volunteers are needed to officiate and assist with all Decathlon events.

Community members are utilized as test proctors and guides, speech, interview and essay

judges, and Super Quiz assistants.  It takes over 500 volunteers each year to coordinate

the Local, Regional & State Competitions.

The Academic Decathlon team sends a clear message to every student that success is

attained through hard work and commmitment -- regardless of one's grade point average.

Please contact Molly Ritchie at  mritchie@wiad.org  if you are available to volunteer at

National, Regional or State Competition for the 2012-2013 season.
