Welcome to the CESA 7 Title I Webpage

Annually, a regional survey is completed by administrators, principals, Title I Coordinators, and Title I teachers in CESA 7. An analysis of recent survey results showed that schools/districts in our region wanted support in Title I and Culturally Responsive Multi-Level System of Support (RtI), Model Title I programming, and Family Engagement. In response to the identified need, the Title I Teacher/Resource Teacher Support Network will focus on building a common understanding of these identified areas of need.

In addition, technical assistance is available to support coordinators and teachers in implementing high quality Title I programming based on Title I law and regulation. Onsite consultation is available for collaborating with teachers, analyzing data, and using data to inform instruction. The Title I Network, in partnership with the Wisconsin RtI Center will provide opportunities for RtI leaders and teams to learn from each other about model programming designed to meet the academic and behavioral needs of all students.

We hope you will find participation in the Title I Professional Development Series and information on this website beneficial and rewarding as we strive to improve Title I programming across our region. Please don’t hesitate to call or email for assistance.

History of the Statewide Title I Network

A Collaboration between Cooperative Educational Service Agencies and the Department of Public Instruction

In the spring of 2009, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) conducted a survey with Title I Coordinators

across the state.  Responses indicated that school districts desired additional guidance and assistance in

implementing effective Title I programs and in maximizing the potential of their Title I dollars to raise students

achievement.

Based on the survey results, DPI initiated the Statewide Title I Network, which is a collaborative effort between

the 12 Cooperative Educational Service Agencies (CESAs) and DPI to provide increased technical assistance and

professional development for districts and schools with Title I programs.  With financial support from DPI, each

CESA has a staff person to provide Title I support services for all school districts in their CESA region for no cost or

a reduced cost.
