Job Description: CESA 7 has created a new Business Development Director position. The Business Development Director  is to provide leadership and work in conjunction with the operations of the CESA 7 Service Teams, especially in the area of sales, special events, leadership, organizational structure, new project/product development, funding, and education/workforce development programs. Responsibilities include school systems planning; administration coaching; creation and sale of CESA 7 programs and products; fundraising for WIAD, CPR, and other entities, monitoring goals, metrics and services; serve as resource to all departments for organizational project planning as well as to the Agency Administrator and Board of Control; oversee and provide support to the CESA 7 Service Partners under the direction of the Agency Administrator; collaborate with business and education to implement effective workforce development initiatives; and represent CESA 7 through participation on community boards and participate in area groups, organizations, and events.

Qualifications: A successful candidate will have school administration experience and a passion for developing business connections with educational companies to help school districts improve their educational programs and operations while saving money.

Requirements: Must hold an education administrators license and enjoy people.

Job Description: CESA 7, located in eastern Wisconsin (Green Bay), is seeking a dynamic individual to fulfill its Literacy Specialist position to serve its 38 member districts beginning July 1, 2017. This high profile position requires an individual with not only knowledge and experience regarding improving student learning, instruction, curriculum, teacher effectiveness, assessment in Literacy, and infusion of technology into learning, but also must demonstrate ability to communicate, lead, coach, and facilitate a wide range of educational professionals.

Required Qualifications:
 Certification or Degree in Reading, Literacy, Curriculum, Instruction, or related field
 Continued career growth
 Exceptional coaching skills
 Outstanding group or individual presentation skills
 Ability to manage own schedule
 Knowledge and experience in the following instructional frameworks: Gradual Release of Responsibility, Balanced Literacy, and Reading and Writing Workshop
 Knowledge of Title I helpful, but not required

 General Description:

The Green Bay Area Public School District in partnership with CESA 7, are seeking qualified candidates to serve as Program Staff in our 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) After School Program at Lincoln Elementary School. Our 21st CCLC site provides a safe and engaging learning environment for students in out-of-school hours. Academic enrichment activities, such as tutoring in reading and math, and services that enhance the regular academic program, such as recreation, technology education, social-emotional learning and character education are offered daily. The 21st CCLC program affords students and their families the opportunity to work on academics as well as participate in various activities that provide enrichment, encourage teamwork and support academic improvement efforts.

 Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching or planning/facilitating educational activities during out-of-school time programs
  • Comfortable and knowledgeable in the planning and creation of targeted activities suitable in an active learning environment
  • High school diploma (Current High School Seniors also invited to apply)
  • Enjoy working with children who may be dealing with issues such as poverty, homelessness, poor hygiene, language barriers, etc.  
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certified OR able to obtain certifications within 30 days of hire (training provided)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working towards or in possession of Associates or Bachelors degree
  • Background in education or youth development

Compensation:

  • Part-time; school year only
  • Monday through Friday hours: start time 3:00pm; end time is 6:15pm
  • Program runs on full school days only

Part-time employees are not eligible for sick, vacation or benefits packages and are hired as Limited Term Employee (LTE) through CESA 7 with placement in the Green Bay Area Public School District After School Program at Lincoln Elementary School.
