CESA 7, located in eastern Wisconsin (Green Bay), is seeking a dynamic leader to fulfill its WIAD Director vacancy beginning July 1, 2017. This position will lead the highly successful WIAD state competition program. Travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in WIAD or any educational competition program.
  • Has prior experience in managing and promoting an organization of a similar nature.
  • Possesses skills in writing, editing, and producing marketing material

  • Highly organized and an independent worker

Salary Range:     $50,000-85,000 annually, commensurate upon experience and credentials

Job Description: The School District of Sevastopol is seeking an energetic individual for the position of Superintendent. This School District of 612 students provides an outstanding education in a rural setting recognized by the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Schools program and by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s 2015-16 State Report Card designation of “Significantly Exceeding Expectations”. The district is seeking an educational leader who understands the challenges of the rural learning community. The candidate of choice will have demonstrated strong communication skills with students, staff, parents, community, and the Board of Education.

Qualifications: A successful candidate should have a strong comprehension of the Wisconsin school finance model, budget development, and curriculum development. The candidate should have a deep understanding of the Educator Effectiveness model, State Standards, and Response to Intervention systems.

Requirements: Must hold or be eligible for Wisconsin School District Administrator licensure or very near the completion of the certification program.

 General Description:

The Green Bay Area Public School District in partnership with CESA 7, are seeking qualified candidates to serve as Program Staff in our 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) After School Program at Lincoln Elementary School. Our 21st CCLC site provides a safe and engaging learning environment for students in out-of-school hours. Academic enrichment activities, such as tutoring in reading and math, and services that enhance the regular academic program, such as recreation, technology education, social-emotional learning and character education are offered daily. The 21st CCLC program affords students and their families the opportunity to work on academics as well as participate in various activities that provide enrichment, encourage teamwork and support academic improvement efforts.

 Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching or planning/facilitating educational activities during out-of-school time programs
  • Comfortable and knowledgeable in the planning and creation of targeted activities suitable in an active learning environment
  • High school diploma (Current High School Seniors also invited to apply)
  • Enjoy working with children who may be dealing with issues such as poverty, homelessness, poor hygiene, language barriers, etc.  
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certified OR able to obtain certifications within 30 days of hire (training provided)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working towards or in possession of Associates or Bachelors degree
  • Background in education or youth development

Compensation:

  • Part-time; school year only
  • Monday through Friday hours: start time 3:00pm; end time is 6:15pm
  • Program runs on full school days only

Part-time employees are not eligible for sick, vacation or benefits packages and are hired as Limited Term Employee (LTE) through CESA 7 with placement in the Green Bay Area Public School District After School Program at Lincoln Elementary School.
