- WIA Youth Program, case management and tuition assistance-case
managers meet on a regular basis with students to work
on one-on-one career counseling, help with applications,
resumes, interviewing skills and non-traditional occupations
are discussed and explored. HSED/GED completion
and post secondary school is also discussed and tuition
assistance is explained.
- Career development, case management, dropout prevention,
job search, leadership development, mentoring, occupational
skills training, tutoring, work readiness.
- Youth workshops and job shadowing.
- Community Service work site placement for juveniles
- Job Center tour and Career Fairs
- Referrals to business & education partnership,
job corp, NWTC, teen parent program, social services,
East Shore Industries, and DVR.
- Job Net-internet resource for job search.
- Referral through Kewaunee County Human Services
