Offers assistance to individuals with disabilities when choosing educational and vocational goals, building self-esteem and increasing their occupational potential. We also offers a wide range of support services and accommodations which increases the potential of individuals with exceptional educational needs to successfully complete Associate Degree and Technical Diploma programs. Every effort is made to individually and appropriately serve students to enable them to attain success and reach their goals. |

Students with disabilities must meet with the ADA Coordinator/Learning Support Specialist before any support services can be provided. To ensure that support services are available when classes begin, students should contact the ADA Coordinator/Learning Support Specialist at least one month prior to the beginning of class. The Special Needs Office of NWTC offers assistance to individuals with exceptional educational needs (see below). We offer a wide range of support services to help students successfully complete their programs or reach their goals. Individuals with exceptional educational needs include: - Blind or Visually Impaired, - Cognitively Delayed, - Deaf or Hard of Hearing, - Emotionally Disturbed, - Health Impaired, - Learning Disabled, - Orthopedically Impaired, and - Communication Disorder. |
