CESA 7 Bookkeeper

Job Description: 

CESA 7, located in eastern Wisconsin (Green Bay), is seeking a bookkeeper to fill an opening its Business Services department.  This position requires an individual with not only knowledge and experience in Accounting, but also must demonstrate the ability to project a positive, courteous attitude and image with customers, students, employees, and community.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Accounting and/or two years of related experience
  • Continued career growth
  • Outstanding attention to detail in a fast-paced environment      
  • Ability to manage a variety of accounting duties, including accounts payable, credit card statements, check runs, bank deposits, and more

Salary Range:  $13.00-16.00 per hour, commensurate upon experience

CESA 7 Head Start

ASSISTANT TEACHERS NEEDED FOR 2018/19 SCHOOL YEAR

Positions available at the following locations:

Ashwaubenon 27 hrs/week; hours are approximately M-Th 7:00-1:45 and occasional Fridays for staff training

DePere  27 hrs/week; hours are approximately M-Th: 8:00-2:00   F: 8:00-11:00 with occasional longer Fridays for staff training

Two Rivers – 27 hrs/week; hours are approximately M-W: 8:00-2:30   Th: 8:00-3:30 and occasional Fridays for staff training

Manitowoc (both extended day and half day classrooms) 27 hr/week M-Th from 8:00-2:00/7:00-1:30/10:30-4:30 and Fridays from 8-11 with occasional longer Fridays for staff training

35 hrs/week M-Th 7:45-3:45 and Fridays 8:00-11:00 with occasional longer Fridays for staff training

Join the CESA 7 Head Start team!  Head Start provides high quality early education for children and their families.  We strive to meet all the developmental needs of children and families and help prepare them for school.  The Assistant Teacher assists in providing learning opportunities in a positive environment for preschool aged children.  This role is vital to ensuring a healthy and safe environment in the classroom, playground, and bus.

Starting pay is $10.27/hr

QUALIFICATIONS

Has High School diploma, or GED/HSED.

Has Early Childhood classes as defined for “Child Care Teacher” in HFS 46 Licensing Rules preferred (or willing to complete according to timeline of Head Start Personnel Policies).

Has or is willing to complete Child Development Associate or begin course work toward Associates Degree in Early Childhood within one year.

Must complete CPR and First Aid training within 3 months of employment.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Has experience in pre-school setting (serving at-risk children) preferably Head Start.

Has experience working with families of varying economic, social, and ethnic backgrounds preferred.

Has experience in methods of positive discipline preferred.

Has ability to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.

Has ability to work some evening and weekend hours.

Possesses skills in and/or is willing to learn necessary CESA 7 hardware functions and software applications.

 
   

 


 
    CESA 7 Head Start

FAMILY ADVOCATE

Join the CESA 7 Head Start team!  Head Start provides high quality early education for children and their families.  We believe all families deserve support and respect as their child’s first teacher.  We strive to meet all the developmental needs of children and families and help prepare them for school.  The family advocate role coordinates services and activities with families and communities that foster strength, healthy living, and overall well-being. They also provide support in a case management style and act as a liaison between families, staff, the community, and other family-related services. The family advocate encourages all family members to become advocates for their children and family.

Position is 20-25 hours/week covering Brown County.  Hours will vary but are typically M-Th 8:30-3:00, with occasional Fridays. evenings and weekends. Position is school year August- May

Starting pay is $15.36/hr

QUALIFICATIONS

Has High School Diploma or GED.

Has degree in social work or related field (preferred).

Has home-visiting/case-management experience with families of diverse backgrounds (preferred).

Has knowledge of or experience in child development (preferred).

Has experience working independently.

Has good oral and written communication skills.

Is available for occasional travel.

Is available to work some evening and weekend hours.

Possesses skills in and/or is willing to learn necessary CESA 7 hardware functions and software applications.

Possesses either a valid driver’s license and access to an insured motor vehicle, or other timely access to private transportation, to facilitate assignments to classroom sites, meetings, or other off-site destinations.

OTHER FACTORS

Must be able to pass a physical, TB test, and drug screen.

A standard work day requires the ability to:

1] primarily perform medium work—lifting 75-80 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 40 pounds; 2] stand/walk for 1-4 hours; 3] sit 5-10 hours; 4] drive 1-3 hours; 5] use hands for repetitive simple grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling; 6] use feet for repetitive movement as in operation of foot controls (driving); 7] frequently bend, squat, reach, twist body; and 8] occasionally climb.

 
   

 


 
   

Project Manager for Network Security

Job Description:

WiRCC Project Manager for Network Security is responsible for the marketing and sales of a series of network security services to school districts across Wisconsin. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with school districts in assessing the district’s current network security including policies and procedures. The Project Manager will present the findings of the assessment which will include recommendations towards improving and fixing the district’s deficiencies. The Project Manager will serve as the point of contact between any third party service and the district. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project from initial point of contact with the district through completion of the project including billing and invoicing.

The position will be based in one of the three cooperating CESAs; CESA 5 – Portage WI., CESA 7 – Green Bay WI., or CESA 10 – Chippewa Falls WI. The selected applicant will choose one of the three CESAs as his/her home office.    

Required Qualifications:

  • Has appropriate certifications related to Information Security and project management; ITSM and PMP certifications may be given preference.
  • Highly collaborative at all times.
  • Ability to detect nuances in technical details and the drive to dig into details and understand systems deeply.
  • Experience in articulating technical details, risks, and opportunities to executive staff
  • Familiarity with adopting and understanding the goals and methods of a potential attacker.
  • Previous experience with engaging vendors/contractors to ensure IT requirements are accurately designed, planned, and delivered.
  • Expertise in actively managing schedules for multiple concurrent activities and deliveries across geographically separated locations.
  • Management of project communications across statewide stakeholders, subject matter experts, executives and other internal groups, including regular project meetings, email updates, and project wiki.
  • Experience in leading analysis of information security profiles, performing vulnerability analysis, and remediating gaps/issues.
  • Maintains the highest ethical standards and integrity.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license.

Description:
The Green Bay Area Public School District, in partnership with CESA 7, is seeking qualified candidates to serve as
Program Staff in our 21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) After School Program. Our 21st CCLC sites
provides a safe and engaging learning environment for students in out-of-school hours. Academic enrichment activities,
such as tutoring in reading and math, and services that enhance the regular academic program, such as recreation,
technology education, social-emotional learning and character education are offered daily. The 21st CCLC program
affords students and their families the opportunity to work on academics as well as participate in various activities that
provide enrichment, encourage teamwork and support academic improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Site Director, the Program Assistant will develop, implement and lead
programs/activities during the after school program. The Program Assistant will also assist students with
homework, math and literacy academic skill-building, provide recreational/physical activities, social emotional
learning development and other enrichment opportunities. In addition, the Program Assistant will provide a
team atmosphere with other staff to create a safe, fun, and educational atmosphere.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, organize, and facilitate age and ability-appropriate interactive learning activities
● Design and/or deliver learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate and engaging for
children between the ages of 5-12.
● Utilize Common Core Standards and researched-based/evidence-based curriculum to support the
development of activities that will produce a highly interactive learning environment during out-of-school
time
● Utilize CLC resources and supplies to support the weekly activities planned
● Provide homework support and assistance
● Work under the daily direction of the Site Director
● Observe necessary precautions to ensure the safety of program participants and maintain a clean and
professional environment
● Organize necessary supplies for programs/activities
● Assist other program staff and volunteers
● Supervise and monitor the behavior of the participants
● Enforce expectations and regulations and apply appropriate disciplinary/reteaching utilizing PBIS and
CHAMPS strategies
● Communicate effectively with parents, other CLC staff, and day school teachers concerning
activities/programs, participant’s academic struggles and successes, schedule changes, participant’s
behavior and needs, upcoming programs, room usage, etc.
● Attend mandatory staff meetings and staff training sessions
● Develop and maintain positive relationships with day school staff such as the principal, secretaries,
teachers, and custodial staff
● Complete and submit documents per program requirements
● Maintains confidentiality in verbal, written, and electronic communications
● Follows safe practices and adheres to safety standards
● Be able to meet the physical requirements for this role (lift 10 pounds, engaging in active children’s
games, sports, and other activities.
● Completes all other duties and tasks, as assigned.


Hours:
Part-time; school year, only
● Monday through Friday
● Hours: Approximate start time is between 2:00 to 3:00pm; approximate end time is between 5:30 and
6:15pm
● Program runs on full school days, only


Hourly Pay Range

$10.50-$11.25 Depends upon education and past experience.
