The Wisconsin Association of Distance Education Networks (WADEN) and Meemic Insurance are excited to announce that Jen Bos of the Shell Lake School District has been named the inaugural WADEN Distance Learning Educator of the Year. This honor is awarded to a teacher within the WADEN Network that has shown an aptitude for their job, a passion to help other students beyond their own district, and creativity to make distance learning successful for a diverse student population.
“As we reviewed the nominations for this year’s award, we quickly found out that our distance learning educators are making a tremendous impact beyond the walls of their home school, WADEN Director Dean Leisgang said. “We congratulate Jen and all the nominees that have the ability to intertwine complex learning with fun and practical activities.”
