CESA 7

Four regional spelling bees are facilitated by CESA 7 (held January/February). Regional winners advance to the Badger State Spelling Bee, and the state spelling bee winner advances to the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

In order to participate in a CESA Regional Spelling Bee, each public, private, parochial, charter, virtual, and home school must enroll with the Scripps organization.

Enrollment in the Scripps National Spelling Bee program for the 2024-2025 school year begins August 20, 2024. The per-school enrollment fee is $185 for schools that register before October 31, 2024, and $199 for the remainder of the enrollment period, which ends on December 31, 2024. *PLEASE NOTE: CESA 7 is informed of the schools that enroll with Scripps and will only send out necessary forms/information for participation in a regional spelling bee to those enrolled schools. Students in grades 3-8 from schools that have enrolled with Scripps are eligible to compete (one student per enrolled school).
