(Green Bay, WI.)  The Cooperative Educational Service Agency 7 (CESA 7) Board of Control is excited to announce the hiring of Dr. Colleen Timm as the organization’s next Agency Administrator.  Timm is CESA 7’s current Director of Learning Services, a position she has held for the past three years.

“It is my distinct honor and pleasure to accept the position of CESA 7 Agency Administrator. Having worked with our exemplary team and the talented educators and leaders across our region, I look forward to our collective work to ensure excellence in service to our educators and excellence in education for every student,” Dr. Timm said.  “I wish to thank our Board of Control for the opportunity to lead CESA 7, and Jeff Dickert for his dedicated service to education, and his collaboration to ensure a smooth transition.”  

Dr. Timm has worked for 31 years in public education as a secondary teacher, reading specialist, principal and superintendent in rural, suburban and urban districts in Wisconsin and Arizona, as well as Director of Learning Services at CESA 7. “I have long been a champion on the PK-12 landscape for ensuring next level readiness culminating in a diploma by design for every student we serve,” Dr. Timm stated.  “I can assure you that your CESA 7 team stands ready to assist you in successfully achieving your staff development, student achievement, and school improvement goals as together we cultivate innovation and craft solutions to ensure future ready schools across our region.”

Dr. Timm replaces Jeff Dickert, who is retiring after serving the past 14 years in his current role as Agency Administrator.  Prior to his arrival at CESA 7, Dickert spent 30 years in education as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent in various Wisconsin school districts.

During his time at CESA 7 Dickert created numerous successful educational programs including;

· Common Core Standard Insights and Companion Plus

· WASDA Wisconsin Redefining Ready

· Computer Science Talent Ecosystem Youth (CSTEY) Program

· Recreated the Teacher Development Center and added Experience Based Certification

· Substitute Teacher On-Line Training Program

“We have watched Dr. Timm successfully guide the Learning Services department to new heights during her time at CESA 7, and I know she will use that same dedication, innovation and passion for student success to lead our organization to a new level,” Dickert said.

Dr. Timm will assume the CESA 7 Agency Administrator duties on July 1, 2022.
