Ukrainian Author to Visit CESA 7
(Green Bay, WI.) Dr. Ruslana Westerlund, Wisconsin author of the
book From Borsch to Burgers: A Cross-Cultural Memoir, will be our guest
on Saturday, May 21st, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at CESA 7 (Cooperative
Educational Service Agency 7), located at 595 Baeten Road in Green Bay,
and the public is invited and welcome to attend at no cost.
During this visit, Dr. Westerlund will share stories of the resilient people of
Ukraine, including stories from her childhood and some important history of
Ukraine's centuries-long fight for independence. She will also read from her
book and conclude with a question and answer session as well as a book
signing.
Westerlund is originally from Ukraine, and her family still lives there,
including her dad, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts. In her 2019
memoir, she chronicles events of her immigration and the making of a new
life in the United States.
The event will take place at CESA 7, located at 595 Baeten Road, Green
Bay, WI. 54304.
