LEARNING FOR INDEPENDENCE

“Learning for Independence” is a program for 18-21-year-olds with intellectual or developmental disabilities. CESA 7 and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College are working together to provide students in Brown County with opportunities to pursue long-term adult outcomes. The program allows students to become integrated and involved in a post-high school community. Having the students attend classes on the NWTC campus offers the older students an age-appropriate setting better preparing them with the skills they need to pursue other learning opportunities and employment.
